Welcome and thank-you for your interest in the 2025 Border Oils & Batteries Mitta Mountain Rally.
After Eight successful events every year since 2016, except for the disappointing late Covid cancellation in 2020, the organisers have continued to seek and incorporate feedback to bring an even better event for 2025.
This Event is Round 1 of the 2025 Victorian Rally Championship. It will be held on Saturday 29 March 2025. As for previous years, it will be based at Mitta Mitta an hour’s drive south east of Albury/Wodonga in north eastern Victoria. We are pleased this year to have a sub-event included as Round 1 of the 2025 Victorian Club Rally Series. The Event will also be Round 1 of the 2025 East Coast Classic Rally Series.
The VRC event will consist of six stages ranging in length from 14 to 42 km (155 km total) with no repeats.
The VCRS event will consist of five stages totalling approximately 114 km.
The Multi-Purpose Centre at the Mitta Recreation Reserve will again provide an excellent dining and relaxation hub for the Service Park. The Café will be operated by local volunteers over the weekend. Servicing will take place on the adjacent fairway of the first hole of the local golf course.
Spectators will be catered for by walk-in points at the end of Stages 3 and 6.
There is plenty of basic accommodation in the valley; taking in Eskdale and the former dam construction village of Dartmouth, both only 15 km from Mitta Mitta.
A provisional trophy presentation will take place Saturday night at the Mitta Mitta Pub.
The organisers would like to acknowledge and thank Gordon Douglas from Border Oils & Batteries for his continuing support of this event since its inception, as part of a long association with rallies in North Eastern Victoria and the Riverina.
This will again be an exciting and memorable event; it would be a pity not to be part of it. We look forward to seeing you there.
